Meet Laura, a soon-to-be-retired healthcare IT professional, longtime Tahoe visitor, and owner of a 3-bedroom property in Tahoe Vista, California.

Running rentals is something of a family tradition for Laura, who grew up watching and helping her mother manage properties from a young age. But the Tahoe house is something truly special–this property was built by Laura’s family and was run as a short-term rental exclusively for friends and family in its early years.
