North Lake Tahoe's Brews and Wines

Lake Tahoe may be primarily known for its pristine beaches and awe-inspiring mountain peaks, but those who like to imbibe will also be pleasantly surprised to find a wide array of breweries, wine bars, and tap houses in the area. The north and west sides of the lake especially offer a variety of different spots to end a long day spent on the mountain with a unique brew or a glass of wine.

Today’s blog will give you a great overview of the places to get your favorite alcoholic beverages while you’re spending time on the north side of Lake Tahoe.

Bear Belly Brewing Company

On the hunt for a welcoming spot with plenty of interesting beers to choose from? Take a trip to Bear Belly Brewing Company, located on Trout Avenue in the gorgeous town of Kings Beach. Although this brewery and tap room doesn’t offer any food, it more than makes up for it when it comes to location and charm. Hang out in the woodsy and rustic backyard area enjoying a brew of your choice–there’s plenty of cozy places to sit, games to play with your party, and sometimes you might come across a set of live music while you’re there.

If your travels take you anywhere close to Kings Beach and you’re craving a beer, be sure to stop in at Bear Belly Brewing Company.

Alibi Ale Works

Alibi Ale Works is by far one of the most accessible breweries in the North Lake Tahoe area, as it boasts three different locations: a brewery and barrel house and public house in Incline Village as well as another public house in Truckee.

Whether you want to see the behind the scenes action and get a full brewery tour in the original taproom or you’re just in the mood for a relaxed place to kick back with a brew at one of the public houses, Alibi Ale Works has the comfortable atmosphere that you’re looking for.
